About Transformation Game
What is ‘Transformation Game’?
Like many other board games, you roll the dice, then you walk on the path. But in this game, the path you walk is YOUR OWN LIFE PATH reflecting YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCES to see how you live your life.
This game can support you to learn, explore, and discover more about WHO YOU REALLY ARE to see the patterns in your life, and how you can transform to live life in the way you want.

The origin of the ‘Transformation Game’– originally named ‘The Game of Life’ created and developed by Joy Drake and Kathy Tyler back in the 80s in the alternative learning community – Findhorn Ecovillage, located on the northern Scotland (www.findhorn.org). The goal of this game is to create self-discovery and self-love.

The way to play it: The game is creatively designed to have a certified facilitator to guide the player to explore more deeply into themselves. The game process includes sharing life experiences , answering guided questions, attunement, visualization, and many more fun and insightful elements.
Who should play this game?
This game is for everyone who want to explore and know more about themselves. Some said that ‘I want to be a true friend for myself’, and also for those who:
- want to transform their lives
- work on getting out their personal conflict
- walk through the hard transition
- want to reflect their path from the past, present and look forward to see the new possibilities in the future.
Beside their personal transformation, this game is designed to help players work on their relationship conflict together by listening, and understanding each others through the game process.
The game workshop is designed to play in a small group (2-6 people) as well as one-on-one. For a one-day group game (8 hrs.), it usually set up for a group of 3, and you can enjoy ‘the game process’ together while discovering your own self. Whereas the one-on-one session can go more deeply just for you, and takes less time for 3 hrs. either face-to-face or online.
Before the workshop day, the facilitator will ask the player to come with their playing focus – the most important intention during that time in life. During the game, the player will find the way to reach their intention by exploring into themselves in different levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual depending on their focus.
